It's All About His Timing

I think it’s safe to say that we all have things in our life that cause us to worry.  Sometimes it’s finances, sometimes it relationships, fear of the unknown, there are a number of things that Satan puts in our lives to try and pull us away from God and get us to question His faithfulnes

Lately, this is definitely something I’ve been struggling with.  The uncertainty of life is something I’ve never dealt well with and it’s been that one thing that stretches me to trust God.  The other day I was reading from Psalm 40:1-4 says:

“I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry.  He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.  He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God.  Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord.  Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.”

I’m learning to “wait patiently for the Lord”.  His timing is perfect in all situations.  Whether it be when He decides to show the next step for the future, mending relationships, or mending a situation, in His time things will be made perfect.  And while we wait, He gives a new song to sing and an unchanging, faithful rock to place our trust.
