The teams flew out about a week ago and are both off and running in country Check out the pictures below to see who helped prepare the teams for their month overseas. Next time we will introduce you to the kitchen, media, and worship teams as well as newcomers for round 2.
Introducing the Logistics Team!
Summer at CTI would not happen without the logistics team. Logix is in charge of everything from building information, to organizing schedules, to the very important flight-packing day. The team this summer is lead by CTI’s very own Max Herring. Joining Max this summer is Nate Myrick and Chris Wong.
Introducing the Music Training Team!
Have you ever wondered how the summer teams learn all that music in such a short amount of time? CTI is blessed with a group of very talented and hardworking music trainers who have the experience and knowledge to lead the teams in not only learning the music but also stage presence, set writing, verbal transitions and dramas. The music training team this summer is lead by Fulltime alum Jim Dernell. In addition to leading the music training team Jim is also the guitar trainer. Joining Jim are Jordan Chiu and Christian MacArthur training the rhythm section, Chris Reed training the keyboardists, and Brooke Vasilko on vocal training duty. We are so thankful to have their expertise and service this summer.
Introducing the Directors!
It is rare to see these two without an iPad in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. Chris Reed (CTI Executive Director) and Paul Vasilko (CTI Program Director) are in charge of organizing and leading all aspects of summer training and overseas travel. Chris also leads all of the seminars that guide the summer team members in Gospel, testimony, culture, and overseas travel training. All this while still overseeing the everyday operation of CTI. Make sure to keep these two in your prayers!
Again, be sure to read about the rest of the training staff next week!
