The Purpose Behind Our Summer Program

“ active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ."

-  Philemon 6

We share the love of Christ through music and stories of God’s work in our lives, and support worldwide efforts to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19) by serving our ministry partners – modeling the example of Jesus, who did not come to be served, but to serve. (Mark 10:45)

CTI’s summer program is an experience through which young disciples of Christ grow in Christian character and servant posture, deepen their understanding of the Great Commission, learn to actively share their faith, and are trained, equipped for and mobilized into service with evangelical Christian ministries around the world.

Global efforts to “make disciples of all nations” are supported as our ministry partners gain publicity and exposure through the attraction value of a music team.  Team members use the impact of music to share their faith with young people in the host culture.  Those who respond are connected with our ministry partners for fellowship and growth opportunities, and discipled into the local church.

As team members actively share their faith with others and serve their ministry partners in every way possible, their own worldview and understanding of what it means to be a disciple of Christ is expanded.

Ideally, each young person will leave the summer program with a more missional mindset, and will return home to impact their churches and communities through their deepening character and continuing desire to embrace ministry and discipleship as lifelong commitments.
